First of all, thanks!

Secondly, while I have never read Castle Falkenstein, I'm getting the impression that it's a lot less grimy and gritty in tone, and focuses more on the fantastical than the mundane elements. In all likelyhood, the two could be used to make a mix&match setting with the best features of both, though I don't know how much work it'd be.
