Ah, I see. A faery who is at least a knight can use a Boon from one person to get a favor from another. I.e., if an owl owes Lady Willow the pixie a Boon, she can give that Boon to a hungry wolf not to eat her rabbit friend. Now the owl owes the Boon to the wolf instead of to Lady Wiillow.
A faery with no rank can't do this. If the wolf doesn't owe her a Boon himself, then she has to find another way to persuade or prevent him from eating the rabbit. (This might, or might not, involve the faery giving the wolf a Boon).
