You obviously studied accountancy at university, but I studied psychology

Well, I also am qualified to discuss Psychology as well as being qualified Biology teacher, but this is by the by. Freudian psychology has largely been rejected as a serious practice in modern medicine. Sure, you could find people still practicing it, but then you could also get your palms read or read your stars from an astrologer - it's still not regarded as a scientific practice. Just reading the bizzare analysis involved in some of Freud's case studies is enough to question the logic of his theories. Freud essentially stands as a historical figure, these days, with his work more of a cultural statement of the times he lived in.
More to the point, though, all of this has actually been pointed out in Call of Cthulhu suppliments already - Bruce Ballon (a qualified psychiatrist, who wrote the updated Sanity chapter) has argued for seperate skills in both the Keepers Companion and in his Unseen Masters campaign. The point I am trying to make that if these things are being pointed out as flaws in the games suppliments, then it would have been nice for the new edition to correct them. The same goes with the lack of Mathematics skill too.
