From the game:
Endurance (En): physical health or constitution.
Fortitude (Ft): a person’s inner strength and, to some extent, mental aptitude.
As for how it works: Let's say your Agility is 3. For all Agility-related Tricks of the Trade other than those you've improved by one point through experience, you will roll 3d6 and declare "odds" or "evens." So, if the difficulty number is 4 and you roll 5, 3, 5, you'd have two successes if you had declared "odds" and no successes if you'd declared "evens."
Now, even if something is simply "impossible," you can still roll those three dice, and if you can get two 6s, you will succeed.
If you don't have an appropriate Trick of the Trade, however, you can only roll a single die, regardless of your Agility score.
