In clarification, they were all RPG gamers and all knew of the Manga genre. I would not have consulted them otherwise as it would not have been a fair test. I would also have consulted with more female gamers, but they are rather short on the ground around here, more's the pity, and I only knew five that I could easily contact. What I meant by 'no experience of the material' is that they had not seen any advertisements for this specific product and so could not form any pre-judgements on what the name would mean. I'm sorry if you think my comments are 'caustic' but they are accurate.

I am not objecting to the game, merely pointing out that not ALL women think it's a great name, that not everybody instantly identifies it with the 'magic girl' genre of manga (everyone I talked to thought it was going to be Hentai) and the possible reasons why men find the name an uncomfortable one. That is all. If you have misinterpreted my intentions I'm sorry, but it's all too easy to read things into a comment placed on the internet simply because body language, tone of voice and other indicators are absent.
