Maybe I'm missing out on some subtlety but I fail to see much difference between "interactive story" and "collaborative narrative"

The difference seems clear to me from the first sentence of your paragraph. An "interactive story" in this context seems to mean a story created by the GM in which the players get to take part, whereas a "collaborative narrative" would be a story created by the collaboration of all participants in equal measure.

how many roleplaying, sorry, storytelling, games have a bibliography?
|
Taking a look through some of the game books on my shelf: Spycraft, Ravenloft, Masque of the Red Death, Mage: Sorcerer's Crusade, Werewolf: the Dark Ages, UnderWorld, Adventure!, Testament, Guide to the Technocracy, GURPS Religion, In Nomine... in fact, if you don't count d20 rules supplements, I may have more game books *with* bibliographies than without.
And what's with this repeated harping over the use of the term "storytelling" game? I get the point that the rules don't reflect the supposed emphasis on storytelling, but your repeated sarcastic use of the term suggests that either a) you have some prejudice against the whole concept of "storytelling" games, or b) you're under the impression that Shadowstar Games is trying to be clever by inventing a new term.
