Sorry, I should have added that as a conclusion to the mechanics section. The basics of it is that the mechanics are very free form, allowiing them to be bent in any way needed for the story. If you need to give the magic player a boost, just have the encounter happen during the time most associated with his magic (+25% to his roll). Also, the combat seems to be a lot scarier than some other RPGs. This should, hopefully, force players to at least TRY non-combat solutions, lest they fall to a fluke arror (Achilles anyone?). It's little things like that.
