The link for that came from the Shadowstar website because a search here on RPG.net will not find that review.
EDIT: Retracted some suspicion about the Oct. 13th after further research.

That one is probably mine. I've lurked on rpgnet for a long time, but have never joined or posted reviews, instead having done mine at ENWorld and other sites; though admittedly (I can't spell tonight - geez) I haven't done a review for a long time. No time.
The odd thing is, my copy of the review and the one that made it in vary in some very subtle ways - I wrote in a word processor for the spell check, then moved to html for formatting, yet it looks like I either pasted the wrong one in, or my spellchecker and proofreader missed some stuff (proofreader being me

). Oh well, I guess I need to be more alert in the future.
Anyway, I echo your suspicion - but I honestly have no connection to the guy (guys?) at Shadowstar. I think they're in CA and I'm in PA...and at ORIGINS they managed to stay busy enough that I could never hook up with them to get a demo - which my wife was trying to get us into because she thought the game might be up our alley. So I bought a copy.
I figure the review got screwed up because like a dummy, I submitted it without being registered to the site, then realized that after the fact.
Anyway, I hope my review, even if no one agrees with the scores, finds the information in the review helpful, which I htink is more important than the scores anyway.
And now...I think I'd better stop typing...my fingers just don't seem to want to cooperate tonight!
