Using aspects can get you that 6-points-of-margin on a roll much faster than you might expect, but also note, this part of the "wound system" only really applies for player characters and named NPCs (big bads); there's a much faster minions (mooks) element where you can take on 20 shrieking cultists at once and wrap it up in a matter of a few minutes.

But I shouldn't take on this question, since I'm not to be trusted -- I helped design the thing. There are several examples of actual play out there, some of which are on the AP board here.
