I thought the presented locations were interesting and seemed to cover most of the pulp standards; though I would say the artwork is less than sparse. There are eleven pictures in the 160 page book - all of which are from previous HERO books - and four of them are of animals from the Bestiary. On the flip-side, though, there are nearly two-dozen crude maps. Still, I believe the book would have benefited from artwork for most of the NPCs and adversaries in the book. How can you not have a picture of K'Hong in the book?

The lack of character artwork would drop the Style rating back to 3 for me. I would also put the Substance at 4. The book covers a lot of locations but each one only gets 6-12 pages; and if you know Hero characters write-ups they can easily suck-up half a page or more by themselves.
