Just wanted to reply saying that I picked up a brand new copy of this game yesterday after waiting a few months for it to come back into print. I'm happy to report that the game has been updated to match the 1.1 version of the FAQ, including changes to the rule book and various cards. Also, the board has been changed to have a much lighter, tannish background than the darker one pictured in Shannon's review. Not sure if this is a good thing or not.

We've never played it before but are comfortable with other games of this type and, although it doesn't have a steep learning curve, it definitely has a steep comfort curve. We found ourselves forgetting to do a lot of things, referring to the manual often, and we simply had no real idea what to do. It'd be nice if the manual had a few suggestions to get beginning players started.

It's a fantastic game; so much so, that it gave my fiance nightmares that night.
