Wonderful review, Dan (as usual). Although I like *a lot* of the concepts, etc. upon which Burning Wheel was built, I concur that it is a pretty heavy system.
That being said, I would love to have the opportunity to see it played (as you did at GenCon) and then to give it a real college try.
