Yes, I found that information, but it's hardly specific is it? It gives us two basic effects as example of magic, these being the materialisation of supernatural entities and the instilment of mental disorders in their targets. There are no rules here for handling the target's resistance to such wiles, in fact there are no game mechanics at all beyond a brief description of effect. I suppose you could say that Stability could be tested, but that's not explicitly what Stability is for and its use as a magic defence isn't hinted at, as far as I can see, in the text. Because of this, I worry that magic will be relegated to the status of GM fiat. "The villains use some magic and they get away." Mind you, I would worry about any use of magic in an investigative scenario because magic, being by definition unknown and hence without logical cause or reason, is poison to logic. Therefore it's understandable why magic is hard, I just wish there was something a little more concrete to govern it than dropping a few hints and hoping that the GM can handle it.
