We're running the modules using AD&D 1E an explicitly entitled campaign "RetroAD&D". We started with the U series in Cornwall, moved into the A series (Scilly Isles then Moorish Spain), we'll go back to the British Isles for the Giants (Wales, Scotland and Iceland) and haven't decided about the Drow or Queen Spider yet...
Next year I think we might do a Planescape campaign and (shock - horror) upgrade the survivors to AD&D 2nd ed!
