And Substance 1 because of the lower demihuman level caps (which are fine by me and easily remedied by others) and the thieving percentages (read Robert Fisher's Basic D&D website).

And so on.
Oh, I am reading Holmes Basic right now for fun. (Have 2 weeks before my next nWoD game due to player sickness and job issues. Why plan ahead when I can take a short WoD break and read stuff for the hell of it? IM A SLACKER GM YET STILL AWESOME. (At least my players always say so.) BWAHAHA!)

If I review it you would NOT like it. I would be FAR less lenient to it than Lev has been. Far, far less lenient indeed. I would be the Cenobite of D&D reviews.

And it would deserve it.

I might just do it to see how many accusations of troll, jerk, and meanie I would get.

It would be like playing Halo 2 over X Box Live. Cept with different insults instead of the usual anti semitic, racist, and homophobic ones.

About the only version of D&D that would get a passing grade from me is Mentzer really...

Man, now I want to go finish reading it now just to PISS PEOPLE OFF.

Of course I must again ask why anyone cares what Lev thinks of these books anyhow.

YOU PLAY RPGS PEOPLE. IF YOU CARED WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THOUGHT YOU WOULDN'T FUCKING BE HERE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.
