There are more than a few Comunist PCs running around amongst the pre-made PCs I've seen for scenarios, not strictly among the Russian characters, either. I've also seen pre-mades whose goal is to defect in either direction.

As for general antagonism, really it can go in any direction. A lot depends on the players involved, since the mechanics make betrayal especially brutal when it's by someone you trust. And since having trust in another character also makes you more effective when you work together...well, I'm sure you can guess where those things can lead.

OTOH, in the Minicon game of this I played in, the intra-party antagonism mostly amounted to relatively mild ribbing based on national stereotypes and mostly we worked as a team to attempt to stop the Nazi-Zombie-Mechae from escaping to South America.
