Very interesting. You certainly played differently than we did. We always felt odd playing more than one character, as we had problems playing both personalities at once, and we never sent henchmen in first to fall into pits, or else we wouldn't have anyone to heft to treasure chests, and word would get around that hiring out to our band was ungood.
But even given all that, most modules gave the GM an adversarial role, but S1 seemed like all-out war had been declared on the players. I think only Q1 shared that, and that was just because of the confusing maze and powerful monsters.
