The reason that I'm asking is that this appears to be the migration that TSoY went through:
TSoY 1 rolled 2d6 and various things added +/- 2 to the roll.
TSoY 2 rolled 4dF and those things added +/- 1 to the roll.
Making this shift seems like it would make each "level" of a Quality worth +1, rather than +2. It just seems like it would all work out easier.
And maybe you could get away from having to "look up" success levels, as well, like FUDGE-based games often can: Just roll 4dF + Quality lvl and the result
is your Success Level.
Or am I missing something?
