That's five steps, and it doesn't even include the steps for the target defending himself, or for determining exactly how much damage the target took... plus, he didn't say that simple addition is hard, but which is faster, adding 7d6+ or adding a single number to a d20? I'm not going to say that d20 is faster; fuck me if I know. But come on...
