I have to agree. Burning Empires has more scope that it is getting credit for. Admittedly it's still limited compared to what it could do - but not to the point that Wyvern puts forward.
I certainly feel that I could run a number of different style games using BE - but admittedly, they would all inevitably boil down to a Vaylen invasion.
What would be cool, I think, is if Luke could do a supplement that details the effect of running multiple games - where the more worlds that get saved or invaded have a greater effect. And maybe decrease the length of playing on one world, and instead making a campaign about the ultimate threat of the vaylen to all humanity. Allowing for games where people can travel across space to convince the different factions to unite against the threat - and having more of a direct relationship between in game actions and the infection roll.
I guess I'd like to see the game expand out to embrace more of the setting and become genuinely epic in scale...
