Wonderful review. I'm grateful that you wrote this as I had not heard of this game before and am looking forward to acquiring this it soon. It sounds like it will be a nice change of pace.

I'm currently playing D&D 3.25, playtesting Shadows of Reality, gearing up to run Call of Cthulhu (using FATE, I think), and developing my own HAGIS/Aega Mythea designs. Yes, this would definitely be a nice change of pace.

One question: Do you think that AGON could be played as single session, from a rules description to the players (by the GM who's read/understood them ahead of time), through character creation, and a full quest or two?
