But what you said, was the place of those games "is largely historical". And it isn't. Many people play them and like them (or even love them). Not being cutting edge isn't the same thing.

Eh, no more so than AD&D: could use them , but didn't need to. Anyway, what I was saying is that combat
doesn't sound like
Swordbearer, but that a number of other elements
do.
