As someone who reads and rewrites press releases for a living, I would hope my review read BETTER than a press release
And I was familiar with 4th edition CoC before seeing this one, so I tried to write a general review about the most recent edition, without comparing it to others. I write mostly for an audience who have little to no background in gaming, so they really don't care how it has changed over the years, just some of the reasons they might want to play now.
