In ME projectile attacks resolve similarily to A&E attacks.
An Attack Overlay (there are are 5, one for each range band) is placed on a silhouette (the GM screen provides over 15 silhouettes). A percentile success roll is made, the amount by which you succeeded gives you a "hit point" on the Attack Overlay.
Each overlay has 30 of these "hit points" which sprawl out from the center. This eliminates the need for an additional "deviation step" (the card draw in A&E).
