As far as weaknesses, it is very easy to abuse the system. It depends on people wanting it to work. I thnk that is why there is such a positive spin on the game from people that like it. They are vested in it as part of using it.
It is not hard to find something "wrong" with the rule book, the included
art is horrid. I have been tempted to print a copy just so I could remove the
art.
Being a "generic" game engine, it does not contain every detail for every genre. Play wise it covers its bases in that it provides a system for creating the parts that are missing. (if you need them) Since it is a system for creating a Story from scratch, this isn't as big a negative as a game that would be expected to already contain every little detail. It is however a negative.
