Patience for what should be a core element (like the standard Magic and Martial Arts books) to be released is something that fades quickly among those who have been using the system for years and are now more or less forced to use the new system (since new players can't be gotten for old editions of the game if they can't buy the books in the stores).

There's discussions going on over on the GURPS website about some of the content of the book. Just because it isn't listed on the schedule doesn't mean it isn't coming. The line editor had some health issues that delayed the book, but he says it should be out in the first third of 2008.
