Well considering that the system is almost two decades old (first release was in 1991 in Sweden I believe) it's not suprising that by todays standards it's a little bland. Plus I don't know of many games who use a skill system in which a lot of skills are hardly ever used. Back when I used to GM the game skills were used quite a bit but that may have just been my groups style.

The only system mechanic that they changed in all that time is giving weapons a DEF stat. Thus getting rid of the tick level for each individual weapon.
