One extra point though: This game is [i
truly[/i] for Mature Players. Not so much for the maturity of its content but for the fact that the players are not encouraged to play heroes.

Unlike a game like CoC, which takes away your character when he goes mad, Kult not only continues to allow you to play it, but encourages you to go even madder. This means that immature groups find themselves playing characters that practise murder, rape and cannibalism on a daily basis...and these groups unfortunately seem to enjoy it.

This is a bit disturbing, and one of the reasons why I'm always very careful choosing who to play Kult with...
First, thanks. Again, praise from long-time players means a lot to me.

I agree completely. My point in the review is that too many horror rpgs are horror in name only...they are actually heroic fantasy with a few creepy trimmings. Kult does pure horror better than just about anyone out there, which is percisely why I wanted to do it for the horror week review.
