Agreed -- and given that the FATE system is mentioned more than once in the book, the mistake seems... odd.

I could quibble with some misunderstanding of the rules or misuse of terminology, but I accept that not everything's immediately clear on a first read-through. And while the system is, IMO, simple and intuitive, some of the finer points of the mechanics (e.g., the difference between "tagging" and "compelling" an Aspect) can get muddled if everything's new.

But whatever -- thanks for the review. I read this one mostly out of curiosity, as SotC's become my go-to system (used to be HERO, actually) for a variety of games. James, I'm not clear on why you didn't give this a 5/5; I don't think I recall reading a single negative comment, and I'd think "the best pure Pulp game on the market" would warrant a 5 in at least one category.
