This is an example of what I was talking about. This post labels any D&D player who buys the book as a "fanboy". Why do we have to call people with different value priorities derogatory names? You don't think it's worth the money, fine. Some people do (be it for the art, the designer notes, simply as a collector, or whatever reason).

And once again, remember that I'm not buying the book. I can, however, manage to do that without deriding those who decide it is worth their money.

Remember that the vast majority of the population probably considers spending any money at all on D&D or any RPG to be silly, and many would deride it. Can we leave the elitism at the door?
