Just to check, you appear to be upset/miffed/whatever because a cool little rpg was so well received that the people involved decided to expand that cool little rpg into a cool full-sized rpg. Is that the basic premise to your sad tale of perceived injustice?

As to your feeling cheated: don't buy the bigger book, stay with the little one. Boom, problem solved, you've not been cheated out of a penny. The fact it has a "bigger brother" in no way diminishes the quality of the game. It's still the same game it was the day before they even announced the new edition. The paper hasn't suddenly withered, the ideas are just the same, the rules are just the same, the fun you can have out of it is <i>just the same</i>.
