Good review. You hit most of the points I have too: a great game; pretty much my default Supers game now (I'm running a 1970's marvel-style game right now; see sig; end plug); with some weird bits where it seemed the enthusiasm pooped out, particularly the Powers list.
One example of that: I had a player making a mentalist, who pointed out that there is no telekinesis power. Surely that's not right, I thought. But she was right: we have Energy Blast and Energy Beam, but no Telekinesis. Of course, this is T&J, so it was simplicity itself to make up the power, but I still had to do some heavy lifting (my call: TK lets you use lift objects with a weight and range from the Intensity Chart; damage is normal-scale, however, and not super).
Hmn, that all sounded negative: Chad, I love the game. But I hope for some tighter editing next time around.
