Thanks! I do love playing the game. It's a lot of fun with my regular gaming group (The Damned Dirty Apes), but it's also great to game with strangers at a con. You never know what kind of situation you're going to get into, and that's a real adrenaline rush for me. They always want to split the party, so I have to keep flipping back and forth between scenes, which keeps me on my toes.

Awesome! Was it the goat-dancing or the moon dripping red with blood that is of a crimson hue?

Some of those are just random reviews, but a few are comp-copy reviews. When I released the first edition, a few people asked if they could get a free copy in exchange for a review. I agreed to this, but most of the reviews were never written. This was a real drag. So, with the new edition, I gave out a few more copies this time around, reasoning that (as before) most of the reviewers wouldn't hold up their end of the deal -- though I tried to be more judicious about who I gave free copies to this time around.
Anyhow, I was dead wrong, and most of the free-copy reviews have already been written. Since this is the only kind of advertising that a shoestring-budget indie like me can afford, I can't complain. The unintended side effect is that this game is now being compared to the rickrolling phenomenon. I can't complain about that either, as I love that song in an irony-free eighties-nostalgia kind of way.

Held up at customs. They don't like the look of it...

Other than a couple of stores in Raleigh, North Carolina (Hobby Masters and Foundation's Edge), Dread is only available via Lulu. However, there will be several copies available for purchase at the Forge Booth at this year's GenCon, if you happen to be out that way. I myself won't be able to make the con until Friday (work, work, work), but if you get a chance to swing by and say hello, please do.
And if Lulu just flat-out doesn't work for you, PM or email me and we'll see if we can work something else out.
