Anyone who found Mr. Davies' review lacking in substance should check out mxyzplk's blog: http://mxyzplk.wordpress.com. He's currently writing chapter-by-chapter reviews of the PHB, and has also posted a summary review entitled "D&D 4e’s Out… And It’s Awful. Here’s Why." As you can tell, his reviews are harshly critical, but they're certainly more detailed than Mr. Davies'.
