Great review, sums up how I feel. I see absolutely no good reason to waste time or money on 4e, I'll do Mutants and Masterminds if I want superheroes. Even more so with 3.5 supplements hitting the $5 range.

Erm - not that I've seen. Do you have any substantive proof of a copy and paste job on the powers? From what I've seen, they produce similar levels of damage, but have different additional effects.
I think most of this post betrays a common misunderstanding of what "powers" in D&D 4e are. They don't make your PCs superheroes any more than special abilities did in 3rd edition.
If you are going to make criticisms of the game, make sure they are based in fact and not speculative opinion.
