This was an awful review: poorly written, smug, and uninformative.

I don't know why some gamers think it's relevant that they've played the earliest editions of D&D and act as if that's an excuse for not having anything interesting to say. So Mr. Seeger flipped through the book and found two or three trivial details that he thinks are "dumb"... ok, it's not as if that couldn't be done with any RPG book ever.

All this review tells me is that the reviewer thinks he's really smart: too smart, in fact, to be bothered with any rulebook that dares employ second-person pronouns!

Unfortunately, he wasn't able to put all that intelligence towards writing a decent review.
