Don't worry, Evan does this with every review that disagrees with his opinion. Then again, this is the same guy who told detractors of SWd20 2nd Edition that, if they wanted to create non-combat characters, to make them with low physical attributes, never mind the fact that these attributes support plenty of non-combat skills that non-combat people might be good at.

It is a self-contained comparative review. If the writer chose to take this direction, it makes his review no less valid than that of someone who decided to describe the whole game non-comparatively. It's not too helpful to people who haven't read 3.X, but then again, it's not written to that audience, is it?
