All the Scion reviews have been interesting, and since this was the one I was most eager to read, I was very pleased to see how thorough it was (if not entirely pleased by what that revealed - alas, that White Wolf did not get a chance to read this review during Scion: God's playtesting!) - allow me to echo the sentiment in the room and give a hearty 'thanks, Chris!'
There is one thing I would like to ask, at the risk of derailing the topic: what are the "alternatives on the market" to which you refer during your final analysis? I am a some-time Nobilis player, but often feel the desire for a god game which is less mentally taxing than playing a chess game while taking a college-level Philosophy final, and still have not found one which satisfies me.
