Re: [RPG]: Witch Hunter: The Invisible World, reviewed by Mike Fischer (4/4)
I had a detailed review in mind but it seemed like others had done a better job covering character generation and the rule mechanics. I have been very happy with the actual play of the game, however, and thought that might be useful to add to the database.
The scenario I described is homebrew. Ironically you can get quite a few free scenarios from the publishers at: http://darkprovidence.net/ . I found the free scenarios had a good amount of detail and GM support which was a plus. They do have a bit of a basic RPG formula to them- introduction, minor combat, investigate, two encounters, boss battle. If I were completely new to running games the free scenarios would be an awesome resource, for more experienced GMs I see them as a good inspiration for the range of games that WH could support.
