I had the exact same reaction when I started reading this module:
"Hey, this is like
White Plume Mountain!"
And I love it.
The review explains the positive aspects very well. What about the negative? For me, there is really only one negative, and that is the pictures you're supposed to show the players. About half of the them are too dark and muddy to be of much use at all, and some of the others are just a bit impractical. For example: one small picture depicting three keys - you're only supposed to show the keys one at a time, as they're found... yeah, that's not gonna work. Even if I very dextrously manage to cover up the others with pieces of paper or whatever, it's going to be pretty obvious what's hidden.
I also kind of wish I had known what the maps for this (and H2) where going to look like before I invested heavily in dungeon tiles. I might as well have saved the money, because my battle mat is going to see a
lot more use.
