Alright, then let me put it in more value-neutral terms.
Release of new versions of the same RPG significantly decreases the player base, usually nullifies the creation of new supplements for the prior version, and often requires me to relearn story and system I've already invested heaps of intellectual energy into (Which is often harder than learning an all new system) Thus,
I choose not to patronize companies that update their game versions with too much frequency or without adequate reason, as I don't like having the disadvantages stated above.
If you want to keep doing otherwise, please do so. My Hasbro stock has only risen 2% since buying it.
