See but that is the weird thing, I don't like minis. Yet, I love using them in 4E. Also, I just use printed/ hand drawn cardboard tokens on handmade battle grids using the blank template provided. I love making these and players get excited when they see the new battle scene. The only thing that does happen is that sometimes (almost always
) players don't go where you want them to and I have to come up with impromptu battle grids, but it takes less than 5 minutes to set up so not too bad or verisimilitude breaking.
