Really not trying to pick a fight here, but I'm curious as to what you mean by "not everything is available yet". You might mean (1) there are significant additions to the game line that have not yet been published, or (2) there are necessary elements of the game that have not been published, or something in between that I'm not able to interpret. (1) is obviously true but also meaningless - 3rd edition would have fit this criteria years after the core books were released. It would certainly be appropriate to evaluate the game after a year or two with the materials provided. (2) would be meaningful but it is obviously false. The three core books, the DM screen, and supplementary materials have been published and played by many groups, with admittedly mixed results, but those results have been shared and discussed enough for people to get an idea of whether they like the game. Can you clarify your statement so I can understand it?
