Perhaps the issue that many ppl have is, D&D 4E does nothing to DISCOURAGE the "we go back to town and sell our stuff" approach. But heck, there's no reason why it SHOULD discourage it. If everyone is having fun killing monsters and taking their stuff, and maybe chewing scenery while doing it, then good for them.

You don't like gamers who just want to kill monsters and take their stuff? Your problem, not theirs. Find other gamers who want to play the way you do.
