Re: [RPG]: Fantasy Hero, reviewed by ghost-angel (4/5)

As a player of the original Fantasy Hero (1985) (including Magic Items and the Spell Book supplements) and who graduated to 4th edition Hero system with the Fantasy Hero sourcebook, Companion and Companion II, I am doubtless interested in how this one compares. Now at 400pages it would hopefully cover a lot of ground, but I'm not quite getting a sense of that from the review.

Does it, for example, discuss Naval Combat (originally in FHC II)? That's pretty important for Fantasy environments. Aerial combat? What about the colleges of magic in previous editions?

And, as a pet question, how does the fifth chapter deal with geographical basics, such as the lay of rivers and mountains, weather and precipitation patterns, cultures and technology etc?
