Other than the attrocious editing, the artwork that just does not cut it as gray scale and poor plotting, one of the worst errors is a scientific error that anyone who took high school chemistry should know and that 30 seconds of Googling would correct.
A part of the plot is the transportation of cometary ice to Frisco. The authors explain you need to keep it in a vacuum to keep it from melting and that as sson as you land and the cargo hold is pressurized it will start melting rapidly.
The opposite is true. The boiling point of liquids decrease in a vacuum and increase under pressure. Water will boil rapidly in a vacuum, depending on how cold it is, but under high pressure requires a high temperature to vaporize.
To keep the ice from melting, you need to increase the pressure in the cargo hold and cut off all the heat.
Out in the Black is probably the worst role-playing module I have purchased in nearly thirty years of gaming.
