I'm trying to view Exalted on a second system. I've activated Acrobat on this system using the same account. I can even check my activation and see the two computers listed. Legba and Gilgamesh. Perfect.

But when I try to open the Exalted pdf Acrobat Reader pops up "click OK to vists a website where you can obtain permission to view this document"

Great; even with activation I need to rely on DTRPG being around to give permission. Well lets try this anyway.

So I click OK. drivetrurpg.com is opened in a new windows... and thats it. Hmm.

Maybe I'll try logging into to DTRPG. So I do so.

Hmm.. still not working.

Check the FAQ. Nothing.

Try opening the pdf again now that I've logged in. Nope. It still takes me to drivethrurpg.com and does nothing.

Check the DRM activation instructions. Nothing.

Maybe the My Account link? Nope. I can change my password and view order history, thats it.

Now if I'd paid money for this book I'd be supremely pissed off right now. As it is I'm just insulted that DTRP thinks I should give them money for this sort of product.


In summery: The pdf I downloaded will only work on one computer. You know that part of the Adobe FAQ about how you can only activate an ebook on one PC or Mac? Looks like it's right. I guess Adobe knows more about DRM than DTRPG.
