[RPG]: RuneQuest Second Edition, reviewed by MonsterMash (3/5)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/14/14573.phtml

Dave Humm's Summary:

An excellent RPG system that has stood the test of time in one of the classic editions. An interesting setting and a set of rules that can be readily adapted for other games.

"Trollpak has a very highly regarded explantion of the life of Trolls is one of the ironic RQ sourcebooks. "

Not to mention one of the iconic sourcebooks

A very enjoyable review, thanks. My battered old copy of RQII has spent far too much time lying dormant.

A reminder that I should really spellcheck these things before I post them. The disadvantages of using Notepad for writing your reviews.

Greatest game ever. I played my last session a few months ago, and it was as fresh and enjoyable as it was right out of the box 31 years ago. If there was a nobel prize for roleplaying game design this book shoudl get it.

Old-school RuneQuest fans may enjoy my Escapist magazine profile of Greg Stafford, creator of Glorantha:

"Greg Stafford, Mythmaker"
