For Lelouch to be Batman he'd have to be at the very worst an anti-hero. Batman has morals.
He is clearly a warlock, having sold his soul to the devil. He plays the sorceress's (or witch's) knight. Everyone else is expendable.
And Batman doesn't have Lelouch's fashion sense.

Unfortunately, Lelouch isn't the villain. What exactly does Lelouch do the moment Nunally is in danger? He drops everything in order to protect his little sister. What does Lelouch do when offered a chance at peace with Euphemia? He agrees to help her.
Even his
killing of Euphemia
is really the greatest act of love he could have given her.
Re: [Where I Watch] Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
The Hero in season one was Euphy.
There is no heroic side in Lelouch vs Britannia.

Oh, I'm sure there's a badass side. But Lulu was no hero from the start, and Charles is both batshit insane and a massive dooshbag.

I do think there's an amount of... performance to Suzaku's personnality until Euphemia's death. Obviously he doesn't just pretend to be a kind person, because he is well intentioned and caring, although I wouldn't call him gentle most of the time; but the amount to which he is self effacing, forgiving of even the people who do him great wrong, etc. is pretty artificial as a result of his regret about killing his father and underlined by the whole 'boku' vs 'ore' thing.

How is that a proof of him not being a villain? He betrays all the people he promised the moon when he does that which is hardly heroic, and even villains are allowed to care for one person (I could give you a bunch of examples of obvious villains who are caring about one or several persons). He's just not a cardboard villain.

But he does have a pretty ass when he's in his pilot combination. Can Lelouch say that? ^_^

Lelouch counters with the badass cape.

Re: [Where I Watch] Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion
The thing with Lelouch is that, if I understand him correctly, he slowly comes to think of himself as the villain. He's like...the Operative from Serenity, if you will.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: So me and mine gotta lay down and die... so you can live in your better world?
The Operative: I'm not going to live there. There's no place for me there... any more than there is for you. Malcolm... I'm a monster. What I do is evil. I have no illusions about it, but it must be done.
Hence all his references to his hands already being covered in blood, and how he can't consort with Goddesses because he already has a contract with a Devil.
