Now that I am home from work I will post the exact contense of my booster for anyone who is curious.
4 Lion Rider Models
1 Masika hero model
1 Lion Rider Unit Card which uses the 4 lion rider models (Unit base)
1 Masika Unit Card which uses the hero model and some infantry (Sorte base)
There were also 3 Other unit cards which use a unit base. There were no associated figures with these cards.
One Lets me use the Lord of the Dead on a Unit base instead of a sorte base (glee)
Another one is a basic Javelin Phalanx with 2 spots which I can put spear throwers on
And another is a unit of Kor Tiger Riders
Both the lord of the dead unit and the Javelin Phalanx seem over all more useful than the stuff you get in the basic box sets. But I've only bought 1 booster so who really knows.
Hope this clears things up for anyone still fuzzy on the boosters cause I know I certainly was.
2 Roman Infantry Sets
1 Roman Cavalry
2 Egyptian Infantry Sets
1 Egyptian Cavalry pack
And then a smattering of special units. Mostly officers and sorcerors for the Romans and for the Egyptians I got the special Centaur leader and the Zombie-Robot dudes.
I'll create a more complete list once I'm done with work.
The easiest way to make 4 armies out of that would be for each force to be the contents of 1 infantry box, 1 cav unit, with upgrades and bonus cav units handed out to make the points about equal. It looks like your Egyptian booster stuff is extra units, and the roman stuff was all upgrades. This is good, as it give the Egyptians more units, since they tend to be cheaper then the Romans.

That makes good sense and seems pretty simple, thanks.

We did a 4 player, 5000 pts each, with one starter box (equivalent to 1 infantry box for each faction), 1 cavalry box per faction, and 1-2 boosters per faction. We had Romans with bears, Egyptians with undead and snake handlers, and two Han armies, themed around cavalry and archery.
My two-player starter set arrived today. I'm looking forward to cracking it open tonight and checking it out.
